Wine profile
Greppicante is a true Bordeaux-style Blend, made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. First produced in 2004, we are now celebrating over 20 years of our popular ‘Bolgheri DOC Rosso’ category wine.
Vinification
The grapes were carefully selected in the vineyard. Destemming and gentle pressing were followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks for 2–3 weeks, maintaining temperatures below 28°C. Malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel.
Tasting note
Ruby red in color, the nose shows ripe black fruit, underbrush notes, and spices. On the palate it is approachable, medium-bodied, soft, with a fresh and persistent finish.
